The Mill Inn is the latest addition to Mitchell's Hotels and was formerly known as Thurnham Mill. It was converted from an old grain mill in 1992 into a superb 15 bedroom well-appointed hotel, set in its own extensive gardens, and has recently undergone a major refurbishment.
On a nice day it is a treat to walk from Thurnham Hall along the side of the canal to have a drink or lunch at the Mill Inn.
