There are a couple of shops that are not too far away but you will need a car. Ask at Reception for directions.

If you would like Tesco to do the shopping for you and deliver it to the Hall, use the link on the right. Before doing so, please read these notes as there are a few things you need to do first of all.

Tesco will deliver your groceries direct to your apartment, however as they classify Thurnham Hall as a business address you need to take the following 3 steps before you place your order:


  1. Click on the link and if you already have a Tesco login, login to your account or create an account for the first time
  2. Add Thurnham Hall as a delivery address (our postcode is LA2 0DT) in “your address book”.
  3. Call Tesco on +44 (0) 845 722 5533 (0900 – 2300 Mon – Fri, 0900 – 2000 Sat & 1000 – 1800 Sun) Option 4, and explain that you are adding an address that they classify as a business but the local store at Carnforth with deliver with no problems so can they please unlock it.
